Gravitating Gestures
Gravitating Gestures (2025) captures the intimate processes of theoretical discovery, focusing on eleven physicists of the Niels Bohr Institute navigating the abstract planes of black hole physics. Invited to explore uncharted territory in their research, they engage in an intricate dance of thought – writing, erasing and reworking notes and equations that hold the potential to unlock fundamental truths about the universe. As they puzzle over complex problems, they themselves become subjects of observation, embodying a vulnerable position between knowing and not knowing, between clarity and uncertainty. You are invited at the table to witness these acts of intellectual exploration; to reflect on the nature of thought itself – how ideas emerge, evolve, and sometimes resist resolution.
