In February the Strong Group was visited by João Costa, Associate professor at Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.

João is a mathematical relativist. A few of his results are well known in the community, such as his review on black hole uniqueness properties, and his groundbreaking results on Strong Cosmic Censorship in spacetimes with a cosmological constant.

While a NBI, João delivered an excellent lecture on the status of Cosmic Censorship, and started collaborations on dynamical curved spacetimes.
