The Strong Group was visited by Prof. Leonardo Gualtieri from May 14-22, 2023.

Prof. Leonardo Gualtieri is a Full Professor at The University of Pisa. He is well known in the community for his work in gravitational-wave physics, in black hole perturbation theory and in compact stars. He was visiting Strong to collaborate with Cardoso and Carullo on black hole spectroscopy and on studies of new fundamental light fields. He delivered a seminar describing the status of observational and theoretical constraints on modified theories of gravity, and limitations in our current knowledge.
